Dr Lisa Duthie
BDS University of Liverpool 2010
Dentist with Special Interest in Dental Implants
GDC Number: 191366
Lisa graduated from the University of Liverpool, Dental School in July 2010, achieving a degree with Honours. She came to work at Duthie Dental in 2011 and has seen the Practice grow into what it is today; the best family-run Practice in Liverpool.
In 2012, Lisa passed the prestigious examinations to gain membership to the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Lisa has always had a special interest in Oral Surgery and in 2021 successfully achieved a postgraduate certificate in Dental Implantology (replacing missing teeth). Lisa is proud to be able to provide Dental Implants for her patients and is really enjoying this aspect of her job. She finds particularly fascinating the modern advancements in dental technology, meaning that she can utilise state-of-the-art equipment at The Abbey to carefully plan and implement Dental Implant treatments with perfect precision.
In addition to this, Lisa enjoys providing facial aesthetics treatments for her patients. She has been doing this since 2016 and achieved a post-graduate diploma in facial aesthetics (Botulinum toxin treatments and facial fillers).
Lisa works across the two sites – providing general and restorative dentistry at Duthie Dental, and Dental Implants and Facial Aesthetics at The Abbey.
In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, walking with her two dogs and baking cakes and biscuits (all sugar-free of course!). She has two children with her husband Jack, who also works at the Practice.
