Marionette Lines
Marionette lines are wrinkles from the corners of the mouth down to the chin. These vertical lines can create a sagging appearance in the lower half of your face. Those with significant marionette lines may complain of looking sad and tired even when they feel bright and refreshed.
What causes marionette lines ?
Marionette lines can be caused by loss of collagen due to aging. They can be exacerbated by sun exposure, dehydration, smoking, weight loss, stress and a lack of a quality skincare routine. The development of marionette lines can be genetic but by maintaining a healthy lifestyles you can diminish. Alongside a healthy lifestyle, treatments are also available to slowdown the development and diminish existing marionette lines which have already formed.
