Jowls
Jowls is the term used to describe sagging and loose skin below the jawline.
What causes jowls?
Jowls can be caused by reduced collagen production as you age leading to reduced elasticity of the skin in your cheeks and below your jawline. Genetics can determine whether or not you develop jowls and how noticeable they become over time. Sun expsoure, weight gain and loss, stress and certain repetitive facial habits can cause jowls to develop faster.
How can we help?
Skincare, Polynucleotides, Botox, skin boosters and dermal fillers can help treat jowls
Botulinum Toxin Injections
Temporarily prevents muscle movement to reducing repetitive facial movements, a key cause of the development of fine lines and wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers
Adds volume to dermal layers, plumping up skin to stretch skin and therefore diminish fine line and wrinkles.
Polynucleotides (Ameela)
Deeply hydrates, stimulates collagen production, firms the skin, and reduces free radical damage.
